I had the most amazing stay at a cozy inn in this city. The lovely couple who run the hotel were incredibly welcoming and friendly. Despite the language barrier, they made me feel right at home. One evening, they even treated me to a complimentary bottle of their homemade wine and we had a delightful conversation. They went above and beyond by waking up early to see me off and even helped me with my luggage. They even gave me a parting gift of Japanese oranges. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch, and the warm and inviting atmosphere made me feel comfortable throughout my stay. The breakfast served in a Western style was delicious and served promptly. The hotel's location was convenient, within walking distance to bus stops, ski rental shops, and restaurants.
Nothing, it is perfect.

We had an really good stay at a charming and cozy homestay in Hakuba. The host and his wife were kind and accommodating, even staying up until 1:30am to welcome us. The homemade breakfast with fresh bread and jams was delicious and filling. The cleanliness of the place was excellent, especially considering the shared bathrooms. The comfortable beds ensured a good night's sleep. Although the location was a bit far from the shuttle bus stop, it was still convenient to get around. we highly recommend this homestay for anyone visiting Hakuba.

The shared bathrooms at the hotel were well-kept and the beds were comfortable. The provided breakfast was also good and satisfying. Additionally, the hosts were friendly and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable.
One negative aspect was that the hotel was not correctly advertised. The quad rooms, which were supposed to have four beds, only had two beds and two futons that had to be laid out on the tatami area.

The owners of the hotel were incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home during our stay. They went above and beyond to make our experience special. One night, they even invited us to join them in the lounge area and offered us a complimentary bottle of their homemade wine. We had a wonderful time chatting with them and they truly care about their guests. Additionally, when we had to check out very early in the morning, the owner woke up early just to see us off and helped us with our bags. He even gave us a bag of Japanese oranges as a parting gift.
The only downside we could mention is that the bathrooms were located on the first floor of the hotel. Other than that, we had no complaints about our stay.
